How to order items from this site
Canada: Payment is in Canadian dollars. The prefered method of payment is in well-concealed cash. Money orders should be made out to "François", not Great Worm Express Distribution. No cheques, please.
Nous parlons français! United States: Payment is in well-concealed U.S. dollars or international money order in U.S. funds. International money orders should be made out to "François", not Great Worm Express Distribution. No cheques, please. (Do not convert Canadian dollar prices to U.S. dollars; the difference in pricing is used to compensate for the more expensive shipping from Canada to the United States.)
All other countries: Email Frandroid directly for a quote, for which I will calculate shipping costs and currency exchange rates. Most prefered payment methods are U.S. cash sent through the mail, or payment in Canadian or U.S. dollars through Paypal. If paying through these methods is a problem for you, I will accept any currency (paper bills only, no coins) that my nearby currency exchange office accepts, so just write and I will do my utmost to accomodate you. For all cash orders: your total might not be right on the dollar. If you live in Canada, you can substitute coins with stamps. If you live outside of Canada, send neither coins nor stamps, as they are useless to me. Round the amount to the closest dollar, preferably up as this will help with postage costs. Thank you.
Please note that all orders should include shipping costs! Your order will not be mailed if you did not include any shipping costs. Please see Calculating Shipping Costs if you've skipped over that part. Send all orders and correspondence to:
Great Worm Express Distribution (Note to Torontonians living in or close to the Annex: If you want to save on postage, you can drop your mail at the post office counter in the Shoppers Drugmart on Bloor at Walmer, one block west of Spadina. Write the address on the front of the enveloppe and just tell them it's for the PO Box, and they'll put it there free of charge. If they balk at the idea, speak to the manager...)
You're done!! If you want clarifications about anything on this page, feel free to ask for help.
I'm afraid of sending cash in the mail! What should I do?It is really simple. Wrap your cash in a couple sheets of dark paper (glossy magazine ad pages do well) so that nobody sees it through the enveloppe. If you have to send Canadian coins (like loonies or twoonies), please tape them within your wrapping paper so that they don't rattle and make sure that they cannot be felt by fingers. These are the proven solutions that have been working for years for the zinesters and the punks that have to rely on the mostly amazing postal system in Canada. A solution I've seen once is to send money in a small Canada Post bubblewrap enveloppe. It costs a bit more but it conceals like a charm. A few layers of dark paper really is all that you need, though. Bookstores!Great Worm Express will sell zines at reduced prices + postage to bookstores.
